Hi Barb D,
I am sorry you are having so many problems yourself. It's
enough to take care of one of us. My wife is wearing out after running
my errands for eighteen years. I know when you look up some of these
strange diseases you begin to believe you have half a dozen or more.
Don't try to borrow our's , you have all you need . I do hope that some
of tests are comng out good. We all appreciate yuo and your
contributions to the list. Our prayers are for you.
You mentioned Bill having swelling while in the hospital and
later. I had a lot of swelling of my abdomen and legs and feet. I still
have a lot in my legs and feet since taking neurotin, I prefer the help
that it gives to putting up with the swellng. There are other drugs like
Baclofin and Pammelor that cause the fluid retention. Drinking more
water will help to relieve the swelling as well as what ever exercise we
can do, elevating the feet also helps.

Ken enjoying another beautiful spring day.

Hello List,

I don' t think you can catch TM from reading posts, right? I thought
I was a tired caregiver, worn out from running back and forth with Bill.

However, some internet Doctor that I trust mentioned that my
symptoms sound like dysautonomia - and when I looked it up I found a
list of similar disorders which included Guillain-Barre and neuropathy.
Or dear. This thing isn't catching is it?

If I would happen to have the same thing as Bill now, I would be
more apt to think it is from complete stress of wearing myself out,
which he might have likewise done to himself because he tends to be a
Type A who dreams up errands for me - or I would be apt to think it is
actually a Vitamin B problem (anemia).....which I had before I met him.
Or, something about the heart which runs in my family....or even panic
attacks. But, who knows. Boy that was scarey finding all those
diseases similar to TM on the list. I shouldn't say scarey - just
surprising.

Barb D. in Louisville going to her first battery of tests today
The hospital tests not until April 2
