Hi, Lella, welcome to this group. Thank you for
the update on Roberta2. When we don't hear, we
worry. Bad enough to be limited in our capability
to help, but to be in the dark, worrying .....
But I understand that it's worse to be there in
the light and utterly helpless.

Multo bene! (I hope that is right.)

It is important for her health that she be upright
and moving about each day. I remember when, after
two months on my back, the rehabilitation team had
me in a wheelchair each day, striving for four hours
of endurance but starting with twenty minutes. It
was painful; the muscles I sit on had atrophied
from lack of use; I had no internal padding. If you
were to see me, you would declare that I had an
over abundance of internal padding. ;-)

I believe the detail is posted at

http://www.myelitis.org/seattle99/index.html

If you have more questions about it, ask us.

Betty and I would like to go, but it is a long
walk from New Hampshire to Seattle. We are still
undecided. Hmmmmn, you have a longer walk & swim.
Where in Italy are you?

I followed the links you mentioned [with correction]
to http://www.healthy.net/clinic/dandc/index.html
and didn't find anything on TM. Did you mean a
paper found via MEDLINE?

Send us the abstract, and we will find your author.

Alton, who sends fond greetings to your sister
