Yes, yes, yes!!!! Bill has the swelling of feet. In fact, one time
we had the stocking-measuring lady from the medical supply drug store
come out and she said he had the worse swelling she ever saw in 20 years
of measuring people for socks and so forth!!!!
I don't know what it means. I am positive neurontin (gabapentin)
causes a lot of the swelling but he still thinks the benefits outweigh
the swelling problem. Also, I might be wrong, but I think baclofen
contributes to it. However, I notice in his initial attack of whatever
this "TM thing" is - in 1971 they mentioned edema of the lower
extremitites and talked about how puffy he was. So, ???????.......
Anyway, just wanted to let you know he has that. As far as the
swallowing thing- he doesn't mention that very often - every now and
then he has just a small and temporary problem. I think it might be
when he takes immodium AD - or sinus meds. Or when he eats something
odd.
