I've had EEGs in the past, and they're a piece'a cake. The first one I had
was when I was 13 and my mother thought that my anti-social behaviour (at
13....???...in 1953...??) had neurological connotations. But it didn't.
Then, there was that day in October '97, when I passed out for 30 minutes,
and they took me to the Emergency room, and they did everything there,
including a spinal tap, and yes, another EEG. And again, nothing wrong
that they could find.
And now, 46 years after that first EEG, and just as anti-social....:>) :>)
:>), I seem to be doing fine.
I believe that EEGs are usually done when the doc suspects brain damage or
lesions or strokes (and Alton can correct me here).
