So we met at the medical office where I was to be trained to administer
this very expensive medical concoction, where the nurse was to walk me thru
da whole enchilada, and then I'd give me poore missus her first interferon
beta 1a 'shot'.
It all went so uneventfully I couldn't believe me eyes.
Da nurse first brought out a training kit and I practiced giving a shot to
an orange. Great idea.
And then, da real maccoy. And it went fine. Anticlimactic, to say the
least.
Da Boss said she only felt the needle prick and nothing else.
But right now, 5 hours later, she feels like a truck dun run her over.
Aches, stuffiness, sore throat (she says this is from a cold she thinks
she's catching), and I'm wondering at the moment if she'll make it to work
tomorrow.
News at eleven.
What a relief........indeed....!! Like a ton'na weight taken off'a me
shoulders.
So now, I can go on to my other much delayed daily chores, like
tree-moving, waiting for some new chairs, scraping four layers of paint off
the woodwork in this here house, planning dinner menus, scrubbing toilet
bowls, and who knows what else.
