Just a suggestion...I would call directly to both institutions or have
your pediatrician call and ask to speak to the head of pediatric
neurology. Ask directly about their experience with TM in the pediatric
population. I would also consider Mayo Clinic. If your child was
treated at a teaching center in Pittsburg, they may be able to refer
you. SinceTM, after the initial episode, has many of the problems
associated with SCI, you might also investigate rehabilitation
facilities to see if there is anything further to be done.
