Mary,
Please don't let the recent series of posts disappoint you or make you think
the kind and compassionate nature of the group has changed. To the contrary,
the constant flow of love and support on the list lately would warm your
heart. This group has cried together over the pain and fear that others on
the list are going through. It has prayed together for relief and victory
over those things. It has rejoiced at the victories we have seen. And by
laughing together, it has helped keep our spirits up, and some of our
burdens a little lighter.
The simple misunderstandings that arose in the last day or so will, no
doubt, eventually strengthen the bonds we share. We all came here in need,
and, better than anyone else, we understand the needs of other TMers and
their caregivers. That's the solid foundation of the TMIC, and it will
withstand the tests that come.
Even through this recent exchange, you can see the sincere efforts being
made to heal any offended parties. Help and healing is what we're about, and
that hasn't changed. Welcome back to the family!
