I apologize that this response is late, I have been out of town for
a few days and I am just catching up on the postings. I have trouble from time
to time getting my eye to focus.( I am blind in my left eye as a result of a
childhood injury) I do not know a specific cause , nor has my doctor found
one. Not unusual with this cootie. I hesitate to blame everything that happens
on TM, after all, I'm certainly not 16 anymore. But there are so many things
going on with my body, I'm never really sure if it's TM or just old age
setting in ! I personally did a tremendous amount of damage to my body as a
young child and young adult. ( accidents from being a rough neck, broken bones
etc.) So I have to be honest and say that mine is probably a combination of TM
and the paybacks we all get later in life, reminding us what we did when we
WERE young and "knew it all". It is my understanding that TM can complicate a
pre-existing problem, and therefore probably plays a role in all of it, but I
hesitate to suggest that TM is the source of everything. I can only offer you
my experience with my eyes, and anything else for that matter. But I would
like to suggest that you make a list of questions/concerns and share them with
your doctor. Knowing your history gives him insight to things that you
otherwise may not be considering. I wish you the very best, and hope to see
more of your postings.
