I had more than a few angry outbursts initially, pointed at everything that
was in front of me. The patience my mother is talking about is probably the
only reason we still have a relationship. Thanks Mom.

don't know what type of surgery, only that it is scheduled. His family
has been told that he may never walk again.

They were given this news on Monday, only 4 days ago. She is so
terribly afraid for this child. I remember being where she is. I
remember the fear, and the anger. Especially the anger, and no place
to put it. We sometimes choose unlikely targets.

Those of you who would like to, please say a prayer for Justin and his
family, including Katie. She needs some extra care right now.
