I'm pulling my house apart looking for my medical text but from memory
this is what I can remember: Polio Myelitis almost never affects the
sensory nerves as does TM. With polio you get flacid muscles as apposed
to the spastic muscles that we TMer's suffer from. Last difference
that I think there is (until I find my med books) is that there is
positive plantar reflex(Babinsky sign) with poliomeylitis. If I'm wrong
I'll correct myself as soon as I find my books.
