Alton,
Thank you for the information. What exactly is involved with a pump? I have
heard it used for Baclofen. Tera's neuro is suggesting possibly Immuran as an
alternative, but I have heard that can have dangerous side affects as well..
She has just completed her 5th week on 15 mg Prednisone. The doctors do not
know if they should take a chance on reducing the dosage further or what. Her
3 relapses have been when she was at 5 mg or less. She is doing well so far,
fatigue and coordination/balance are still a problem, but overall I am
encouraged. I dread the thought of another relapse and going back to the
1000 mg Solumedrol with the Prednisone taper AGAIN. She has been on
Prednisone for almost a year now. I feel like we are walking on eggshells. I
am very interested in finding out about this pump alternative. I will let you
know what the neuro says.
Thanks again!!!!!!!
Stacey
