Carri,
I have been watching your problem with your brother. Here is the way I
have been able handle some people who have taken advanage of me. I like
you like to forgive and hope I am not hurt again. I now can forgive, but
I don't have put myself where I have to trust them again. If we get hurt
once we don't have to be hurt again . Have a great week,
Ken

This is a somewhat late follow-up on the credit card fraud my brother =
committed against me. He had been dodging my calls ever since I found =
out about it 2-3 weeks ago, but I finally talked to him on the phone =
today while he was at home. =20
He was very apologetic and stated he was getting a $1000 bonus in this =
weeks paycheck to cover the tab. He agreed to go to credit counseling =
with me. I'm not too sure how serious he was when he said yes. I guess =
I'll find out soon enough. I made an appointment for next week. =20
I was probably too soft on him, I am ually like that no matter what the =
situation. I did tell him how I felt, and that I did forgive him. I =
told him if he did it again, I would most certainly report him to the =
police. He stated it would never happen again. His excuse was that he =
was supposed to get the $1000 in January and pay it all off before I =
knew about it. I asked him if he would have ever told me about it or =
closed the account once he had it paid off and he said, "probably not."
He tried to shift the blame/anger on me when I told him I had informed =
our parents of his misdoings. Of course he was upset - the cat was out =
of the bag. I told him I did not tell them for a week after I found =
out, and continously tried to contact him and felt the need to inform =
them and the need to blow off my frustrations with them. I did not want =
to be carrying any extra baggage on my shoulders - which is what it felt =
like.
I hope I have not set myself up to be let down again, but I guess that =
is part of me - to give most people 2 or 3 chances. I don't know if =
it's my stubborness or that I actually want to believe in the good in =
others.
Not to totally change the topic, but does anyone know if increased =
stress can effect bladder control? I have had more problems than ever =
in the last few weeks. I refuse (again too stubborn) to wear diapers, =
yet I know I am not going out as much due to it being in the back of my =
mind. I have not had any previous bladder problems, except occasional =
leakage. I have tried going every few hours to see if that solved the =
problem, but it has not. I have not been to the Dr. - going to neuro in =
1-2 weeks.
Does anyone have any suggestions? =20
Thanks for all your help,
Carri
