Dear Nancy,
Who has the worst symptoms right now should never be an issue when
it comes to feelings. I have days when my feelings beat me up and discourage
me. I also have small children, which can get pretty difficult. I was told
when I was diagnosed (5 years ago) that I wouldn't live out the week because
of the progression rate. I am now on my feet, taking care of two kids, a
husband and a family in crisis for about a month. I have had some VERY bad
days, both physically and emotionally. I still Choose to believe that I am
more than 80% improved, I have my life, and my family, and the ability to love
them all, and I didn't pray for any more than that. Only God truly knows what
you are truly capeable of, and when it's going to happen. Don't let those
Doctors presume to have THAT much knowledge ! You do your best, it will be
fine with me. And consider your own feelings as important as everyone else's
around here, I think they are. Take care, and keep in touch. Your in my
prayers.

noticed my back is more painful too. I'm starting to get really tired of this
disease. i have had it for a year now and am about the same. the Drs. still
stay that it should go away about 80% in another year but sometimes i wonder
if they really know anything. there still is no known cause for ms either and
that's been around a lot longer than TM so i doubt they will bother to find a
cause or a cure for TM.
i wrote my story last week so if it's on the stories list my experiences are
on it. i would rather have had this in my 60's not 40's because by then my
kids would have been grown up and i could take it a little easier.
has anyone or has anyone heard of anyone recovering completely or at least 80%
from this? i would like to know so i have something more to look forward to. I
know I could be worse off but this is no picnic.
