The CalMag I take is made by Nature's Life and I take 2 tablets a day.
Those 2 tablets contain:
1000 mg. Calcium(chelated) which is a Carbonate, Aspartate, Aminoate,
Citrate Complex
And
500 mg. Magnesium(chelated) which is a Oxide, Aspartate, Aminoate, Citrate
Complex
Hope this helps...

I wonder if anyone has tried increasing their calcium intake???
>From my teens on, I had problems with leg muscle "cramps" that would waken
me in the middle of the night. After marriage to my wonderful Chiropractic
hubbie, I started taking calcium lactate - 4 tablets daily. I cant remember
when the last muscle cramp occurred :)
I fully realize this may not work for TM spasms, but it is worth a try, and
for what its worth, most women are low in blood calcium & could use the
supplementation anyway! Another nice thing is it is one of the cheaper
supplements. If you have a milk (Lactose) intolerance, you may want to try
calcium gloconate, but some of the calcium from mineral sources are very
hard to digest.
One thing to remember when trying something new - give it time, a certain
level of the active ingredient needs time to build up!
**HUGS** to you all,
