This is the response I received:

To begin with, the is no such thing as DEFEAT! We have LIMITATIONS!
One must look at what others have accomplished. What may be a simple =
task to one is a big accomplishment to another. If one looks at things =
this way, then their frustrations will be greatly reduced.
Most of us don't even think about eating a meal with a fork. I forget =
about it, but I can remember being in ICU connected to a respirator and =
was somewhat able to use my left arm. My left hand was taped to an IV =
board. A fork was slid between the board and my hand. If I wanted to =
eat that is how it was. Nobody fed me.
I give this example because I LOOK UP to Jim Lubin and what he has =
ACHIEVED!!!! This was not an easy task. It took a lot of hard work! =
This gives others an incentive to ACHIEVE.=20
I am here because I have always looked at what my cousin accomplished. =
She was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease at the age of 16. She live to =
the age of 33. I cannot tell you how many chemotherapy treatments she =
had. She went to college and studied singing. she sang once with the =
Worcester Symphony Orchestra.
She lived in another state and I only heard her sing a couple of times. =
The one that has stuck with me is:
"Impossible Dream, The (The Quest)"
Joe Darion/Mitch Leigh
To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe,=20
To bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong, to love, pure and chaste, from afar,=20
To try when your arms are too weary to reach the unreachable star!
This is my quest, to follow that star=20
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far;
To fight for the right, without question or pause,=20
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause.
And I know, if I'll only be true to this glorious quest,=20
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this,
That one man scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage,=20
To reach the unreachable stars.
