The Clonazepam has had no real side effects. It does, however, make you
relaxed (not weird feeeling) and some people find it makes them drowsy
(I haven't found this, but I'm an accountant so it takes a lot to make
me drowsy).
I still get my symptoms with differing severity. Usually the symptoms
aren't too bothersome so I'm on low doses of Clomipramine (25-50mg).
When I feel the symptoms have increased and are not going away on their
own I usually increase my dosage and have gone up to 100 mg/day. I'm
usually in and around this range and pretty comfortable.
My disk was removed almost exactly 5 years ago today and my C5-C6
vertebrae were fused with a piece of my hip. No one can tell me if the
damage created from the compression created by the disk or some other
cause is the reason for my continuing, albeit milder, symptoms.
Thanks for your caring:
Peter (with a daughter born 9 months after I recovered from my surgery
and a 7 week old daughter - thanks to a great neurosurgeon).
