Hello everyone,

Thank you all for your messages of support. I am still reading through
all the postings from the last week (boy, we talk a lot, don't we :-) -
it's good). I had a very good pt day. The big, huge, thing was that I
got in the car for my first lesson. Those hand controls will take some
getting used to, but we already went out onto the road (45mph) and did
u-turns, lane changes, etc. I go out again tomorrow at 8am. I know
they are kind of spoiling me; most people only get to go out twice a
week. My instructor is going to see me in the morning before her
regular patients (she starts work at 9). I certainly am in a better
place!

The overnight feeding did not go well. The increased hourly volume
caused much more pain, nausea, diarrhea. I felt much better after we
turned it off this am. We are trying it again tonight, just in case
last night was a flare up of something unrelated.

As far as pt goes, I can "walk" the length of thew parallell bars. I am
not really walking, just weight shifting and "swinging". It is
exhausting, but exciting! It feels so good just to be upright.

Wow...I just talked about me, me, me...sorry all. I wish you all well
and will get through your tm mailings soon. I have read all the ones
sent to me directly...and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your
support.

love, Mykella
