Baclofin is a medication that should never be stopped abruptly. Your
physician should give you a tapering schedule...usually dropping your
dose by 10mg every 3 days until you are completly off the medication.
One of the benefits of the baclofin pump is that the medication is
delivered in micrograms directly to the area surrounding the cord and
you do not have the sedation that you do from oral baclofin.
