I would like to take a few minutes to thank each and every one of you for your
thoughts,prayers,and warm wishes for my dad. I'm sorry I haven't been very
good at getting back to all of you as I should,under the circumstances, I've
been lucky to get 5 minutes to myself, much less enough time to read them and
respond apropriately. God is with my dad right now, and I trust his judgement.
What god wants to happen for my dad is what is going to happen, and I trust
that that will be the best for him. I am having some trouble feeling up-beat
or hopeful at the moment. I have some feelings beating me up right now. I
realize that without this operation , my dad will certainly die. I also
realize that this operation in itself can kill him and or critically injure
him, and that his ability to withstand the surgery is questionable at best. I
thank God, in all of his loving wisdom for putting a smile on my daddy's face
and giving him hope. And also for the oportunity to have just one more day
with that smile on my mom's face. I am having a really hard time smiling. I am
terrified. I want my dad back. I will be here with mom from begining to end
for whatever need arises. I will also ask you to continue to pray for us. I am
praying for the strength to be whatever my mom needs when she needs it. Maybe
you could ask for me too. It certainly couldn't hurt. Again, I thank you all
and know that you are with us. Mom needs your prayers more in the comming days
than ever before, and this is one place that I know has no shortage of shared
prayers. May God be with all of you.
