Hi again,
In regard to my last message, I think 'peritoneal' should be
'perineum'. sorry...

>hi everyone,

>Something sparked my memory, and I just wanted to share it. I've seen
many mentions of uti's in the messages here. I kept thinking...that's
interestion, but I never had that problem in relation to my TM.

THEN I remembered...over ten years, ago, shortly before the onset of my
leg/foot-pain/numbness...I was having some pain in the peritoneal area,
just behind the testicles. It went on for a long time, and eventually I

couldn't sit without a 'donut' pillow. I went to several urologists,
and had many prostate exams...(almost passed out from one of 'em, doctor

must've had an awfully fat finger...:)

Anyway...one of the docs finally put me on antibiotics, and it started
to get better! He said I had a urinary tract infection. Took a long
time, and had to go on a few rounds of the meds...and I NEVER connected
that episode to my TM...until NOW!

I still get discomfort in that region, but not as badly as it was.

I wish I had kept better medical records from that period...it all got
very confusing for a long time, what with the different diagnoses and
all.

Take care everyone,
Kevin
(still putting it all together :)
