Chris is doing better after his bladder augmentation however is still having
difficulty with his left arm, hand and shoulder swelling to the point that it
is nonfunctional. We did go to an orthapedic specialist and he said where his
shoulder was dislocated that is why the swelling is there. Well, it has been
two weeks and the swelling is still visible. So, we are going for a second
opinion this coming week. He has had cellulitis in the elbow on both arms but
his left side was affected the most when the TM came on in May 1991. He is in
a manual chair but was hit at the C-4 level. So we really have to watch his
upper extremities with much needed caution.
