Dear Friends:
After days and days of not being able to see nor send embedded files I
had my fill and called AOL. I spoke with an exceptional young man that was
gracious and very helpful. He was able to duplicate the problems we are all
having and has sent it on to a big boss to make sure this problem is fixed as
soon as possible.
He did have one very good suggestion. Please make sure that the file
names on your PICS are no more than 8 (eight) letters before the .JPEG or
.Bmp. This may help but there is defiantly a server problem nation wide with
embedded files.
He also asked that I get each of you to call AOL and report the same
problems that you are having both sending and receiving PICS in mail. The
more complaints that are filed, the sooner they will see that it has to be
fixed.

The number to call is 1-800-265-8006.

As most of you are well aware, I am not an alarmist. But the sooner we all
complain the sooner we will have the services that we pay dearly for each
month. Please feel free to pass this letter on to any of your friends that
are experiencing the same difficulties.

Carpe Diem

doesn't work, LOL)
