Hi, Mykella!
My situation may not be related but could be. When I had a bad relapse in
September, I was having a great deal of trouble eating and swallowing
pills. The pills seemed to go halfway down my neck, and then sit there. I
lost 10 pounds in 5 days. I had a similar test and everything went down
ok, until I tried to swallow a pill. It got caught up in the esophogus.
I'm wondering if spasms so common with TM involved the esophogus and
caused food and stuff to not go down. Very gradually, I started to be
able to swallow and now I'm back to swallowing food, vitamins & pills
again!
My prayer for you is that things will begin functioning once again! SOON
Love,Karen
