Antibiotics

I have often wondered whether the antibiotics I was given had any connection
to my subsequent myelitis.
About 18 months before my "proper" attack of myelitis I had a bout of flu,
was given penicillin for sinusitis, developed an allergic rash afterwards
and then had 3 brief bouts of a paralysed arm which my neuro thinks may have
been a mild attack of myelitis with no after effects.
My main attack of myelitis also followed a viral attack plus antibiotics
(not penicillin this time) and I also developed a rash again.Although I
doubt that there is any connection, I was intrigued to know that Lisa's
doctor thought that antibiotics were involved in her TM. Anybody else have
any thoughts on this?
