I push to hard often, and do pay the price when I do. I really try to
find ways to pace myself, but especially when I am with friends I hate
to be the one slowing everything done. Close friends and family get it
pretty well, and are used to me calling breaks when we are out together.
My wonderful husband gets on my case when I do too much, cause he is the
principle witness to the results.

My mom, who I am very close to, has always been a go-getter. We have a
great time together, and I have always been able to keep up with her
before I got this disease. She is now 80, and is finally slowing down a
bit too. So - we just poop out together........ Ann

Hello William, I don't recall seeing you on here before. Welcome and I
hope we get better acquainted. How long have you had TM ? I guess no
matter what the time would be it is all just too long. I have been
trying too hard fr 18 years. I am now 73 and thanks to the swimming pool
I am seeing some more positive change. I have tried to live life as
normal as possible. we need keep a positive attitude as much as
possible. It helps to get out among people who accept how you are. I can
than accept myself better. It's tough to realize that life has changed
and we can't go back to what we were. Hang in there, take it one day at
a time.

Ken in sunny cool Texas
