Now that you know you have the right to see
your records, browse through them for a few
minutes at the beginning of each shift change.

The error rate will plummet.

But don't expect to win the "patient of the
month" award. All things considered, you are
better off getting the right medications than
being overly nice.

p.s. When I started to collect copies of my
records, the risk manager immediately collected
copies for herself of every single record
pertaining to my case. I knew because I had
friends inside the system.
