I just wanted to add something to my already long-winded post :-)
I called one of the nurses from the last hospital I was in who was,
conveniently enough, working tonight. After she reassured me that I had
every right to question, I asked the nurse to check what that last nurse
gave me. She came back and told me that that last nurse had not, in
fact, given me my pain or nausea meds when she said she did. I was
relieved, since I was still in a lot of pain and very nauseated. I was
also pretty upset to realize my fears are valid. I am not sure how to
approach this problem, and would still appreciate any advice
