O.K. I have a question for you. Why did you refuse to give blood? Maybe it
is because I'm a woman but I'd rather give blood than urine anytime! I pretty
much let the doctors "take" whatever they want. It just seems to important to
get accurate diagnosis. I can see refusing certain treatments but not
refusing blood.

Were the people at the hospital at least nice? If they'd have asked me if I
really needed a cane I probably would have wacked that person upside the head
and said, "Yeah, it comes in handy when idiots ask stupid questions!"
