Thank you for your letter!!! I was so excited when I had mail from you. Just
to let you know a bit about me, I used to teach high school. Currently, I
have been in the hotel industry for 6 years, presently a Regional Director of
Sales. I do some traveling to our hotels. We have three of them right now.
As for my WONDERFUL husband, Chris, we have been married 10 years - dated 14
before we were married, so very bestest friends. He was diagnosed May 1991,
married in Oct 1998. With TM, he was struck at the C-4 level but has gotten
some return on his right side down to T-1. Well, the first 8 years was not
bad, but lately it really has not been very good.
In Nov 1998, he was admitted in the hospital for a week due to his swelling of
his right elbow, tremendous. Then, Jan 8 1999 he had a bladder augmentation
leaving on the outside 40 stitches and thousands on the inside. He has been
out of his work since Nov. He has not done real well with the bladder
augmentation and on top of this just last night we spent the night in the ER
room, dislocation of his left shoulder. Now his left arm is in a sling for 6
weeks.
Ranea, both of us are very positive but we have had a tough time. If it was
not for God, well, you cannot do anything without HIM. Please, Please, Please
pray for my husband. He has been sad since all of these things keep
multipying and we just need many prayers. We got home at 7AM this morning and
he is resting as we speak. I was just soooooooooooooooooo happy it was not a
blood clot (again), or a mass as they thought at the beginning. His email
