Dear Renae
I've been in a bad way but I'm working on getting out of it. What has
helped me most mentally is the good friends who have visited to laugh
and talk about the funniest things possible, watching good uplifting
movies with family, going for a ride in the car, being with people who
don't pressure me to get better but will be relaxed in the recovery
process which often is very slow. That helps me to not try too hard,
resulting in frustration and tears, but at the same time keep the hopes
high and continue the effort so necessary to recovery. Recovery takes
patience on both the TM survivor and his friends and family. You're doing
more good than you even know, Renae!!! I know youra vital part of Rick's
progress. GO GIRL! Karen
