Hi Alan~
So good to hear from you!! Glad things are progressing.
I think the difference you asked about is that the central nervous system
controls your involuntary organ function (heart, etc.) and the peripheral
nervous system affects muscle movement, sensation, etc. Am I on the right
track, gang?

Hey Alan, Barbara and all! sounds like you're driving the train to me
Barbara. if so, what can we do to help Rick with that as opposed to anything
("what", i don't know) he is doing, to help? he's just at a bad point right
now. he has a "pressure sore" on his "tail bone area". a pretty bad one at
that and not progressing, only bzzzzzing and bad spasms in feet & legs almost
constantly. his back hurts from the injury of snapping something in his back
picking up roll of carpet but he has only regained a little feeling below his
waist, none still whatsoever in his legs, butt, etc. pray for him and
jeanette (his 0:-) of a wife! He also has several "boo boo's" on his toes,
feet, etc., (at least that's what jeanette tells him! God Bless You all!
