My husband and I were when we still lived in Minnesota. In our case it was
from an old furnace that had a hole in it. The only way we found out what
was wrong with us was when I read an article in one of the lady's magazines
about a family that had a hole in the furnace. The furnace was old, so we
had it replaced as soon as I read the article. The guys who took out the old
furnace found the hole and confirmed my suspicions. The bad thing about
carbon monoxide is that you don't know it's there. You feel sick, so you
stay home. Since you stay home, you keep feeling sick because you keep
breathing carbon monoxide. It can be deadly if the leak is big enough.

Ann - who lives in California and hardly ever has the furnace on.
