I just talked to Doug and asked him about the theory that, whatever
recovery your going to get will be in the first year then that's it. Maybe in
the old days he said, but as long as you show recovery, and work at it, you
will continue to recover. There are no definite time periods. He does research
on neuronal death and regeneration. He just got a grant to continue this
research. Maybe he's our hope for the near future. My Aunt is dying with
breast cancer, that's why I haven't heard from him lately, but I thought I'd
call him and ask this question for the newbies.
