I'd like to share some news of one of our own, Janie (SHIGETTE). Janie hasn't
been posting lately because she is not feeling well, but tries to keep up in
her reading. She will continue reading the digest from the list but for now
will be taking a break as her health requires so.
As some of you may or may not know, Janie also has Lupus. This disease is
attacking Janies heart muscle. Right now her cardiologist is VERY concerned
because he cannot get her heart rate down. Even when she laughs her heart rate
soars to 120. Poor soul was told not to laugh during her most recent test 2
days ago! She has to somehow keep her laughter down as this even affects her
heart rate.
It has been on the discussion table for quite sometime for a pacemaker, but
Janies body has a natural tendency for rejection. At this point she has left
it in God's hands.
This is a very scary time for Janie and she is TRYING to be uplifting but I'm
sure it has to be quite hard for her. She asks to send all of her love to all
on the list. She misses us all here. I ask that we all keep her in our
prayers.
Janie, knowing you, you are a fighter and you couldn't be in better hands than
you are, God! Take good care my friend and keep that laughter to a minimum,
just for now.
