Gail and Barb,

Barb..no your post was not dumb. It was very true and it made me start
thinking. I wanted to respond to you Gail to help, but just did not know what
to say. To read your plea that sounded so desparate made my heart really go
out to you Gail. Barb, reading your e-mail made me think of little things
that might help cheer up your Mom Gail. Maybe buy some flowers for her, or
better yet, pick some. Buy her a cute little stuffed animal. Comb her hair.
Do her nails, give her a pedicure, a massage. Do anything that shows that you
love her and care about her. Write her a little note. Buy the candy
valentine hearts with messages and leave them around where she will find them.
You may get discouraged because she may not respond initially the way you
hope, and it may take some time. If you get discouraged or depressed, vent to
us!! Maybe she may respond to a heartfelt letter from you telling her how
much you love her, and how much it hurts you to see her like this.

Let us know how your Mom and you are doing Gail

Nancy
