I just received my February 1 issue of People
magazine and there is an article about Ruff in
there. It reports that while teaching in Liberia
he became paralyzed by Guillain-Barre syn-
drome. (GB is a close cousin or some such and
is what the docs had to determine between that
and TM for my diagnosis.) This should end our
quest for info from him as to TM or not. I believe
that he does not dwell on his loss and does not
want to talk about it--this report about GB was
told by his sister.
