The reason I posted that short blurb was to see if I could get someone
thinking about the cause of TM in the first place. That questions had been
posted some time before and is the question we all have when we are first
stricken. My wife often refers to "The Hot Zone", a book about viruses
released.
My post caused me to think that the infamous "TMX VIRUS" referred to by "Doc"
some time ago after his survey, could be a herpes-type virus that we all have,
most from childhood, but that lies dormant and is not know to it's host.
The rest of the article from which I posted went on to discuss the safe
handling of monkeys because many people who had contact with them came down
with a herpes-type(B) virus and some were adversely effected by it with a
myelitis infection. This was a very old article with studies from 1937 to
1988 emphasizing the safe handling of the African monkeys because of the virus
threat.
Anyway, it was just a thought, and a rather paranoid one at that. Remember
tha old sayings; "Hi, I'm from the government and I'm here to help you", "the
check is in the mail", and "It's just a cold sore"?
LOL
Just Old Bob, a rambling here.
