valuable. We have suspected links between some
TM cases and injuries, but this is the first I
have heard of how it can come about.
A propensity for spinal cysts after intrusion may
well be more than a coincidence; with your family
history, I can not believe otherwise. But that does
not imply that TM, in general, is hereditary. I
understand your concern, and especially your
concern about intrusions that can be avoided.
You asked about Decadron. The generic, dexamethasone,
is a steroid similar to prednisone. Patients with
spinal disorders are often given an IV steroid for
a few days; an oral administration of Decadron is a
common follow-up after the IV.
I had Decadron, and, incidently, it blew my mind out
of the water.
