How the tmic-list works

Gail, I was once in a vaguely similar situation,
so I think I can understand the intensity of your
pain. John, the AZMAINIAC, and Ann Lindstrom have
given good responses to your real problem. On a
minor question, here is a clarification for a newbie.

The way this process works is as follows:

When you send an EMAIL to tmic-list, it goes
directly to a computer program, not a person.
That computer program then sends a copy to
everyone on the list. So a message sent (or
CC'ed) to tmic-list will appear in your inbox
even though you are not an explicit addressee.

When you send something to the list, you will
get a copy even though you are the person
who sent it --- because you are on the list.

You will also see this when someone does a
"REPLY" to one of your own messages. You will
get a copy in your inbox because you are an
explicit [reply] addressee. You will get a
second copy if they did a "REPLY ALL" that
results in a copy being sent to the list.

Just delete the extra copies.
