Electric Door?

I was thinking about new inventions today - and just had a thought. Why
doesn't someone invent a cheap door that could be opened by remote? Or
maybe it already exists????

When Bill had home health he couldn't get up fast enough to let them in -
and sometimes couldn't get up at all. It would have been nice if there
had been a cheap version of a remote door opener or remote door.

Bill says apartment buildings with security have locks that are
controlled by remote but I never heard of an individual having one.

Also, when my Mother had Home Health - she had them use a remote on her
garage door to go in and out and there was a controversy on them leaving
it open without her knowledge one time---that is what put her in a
Nursing Home - that incident. Wouldn't it be nice if there were a door
with remote where the person could "see" that the door was locked - or
could somehow tell. Just a thought.......maybe it is already out there
but it must be expensive. ...???...
