Alice,

I can only echo Lynn's wise words to you. This child has been in pain for much
too long. Since "myelitis" has already been stated then IV steroids are a
must. At my onset like many others on this list, they did not know what was
going on with me and thought it was an allergic reaction BUT to their credit
almost immediately put me on IV steroids. I'm convinced that without them, the
invasion would have caused paralysis and more damage.

I'm a Mother to 3 children and can only imagine what your going through right
now knowing this child is having to go through all of this. Please know you
are all in my prayers.

Sounds like the teaching hospital is the best place for her and that they
won't stop until they find out what is wrong with her. Surely they will give
her something to treat that awful pain she is in. It's a must!!!

Please continue to keep us posted on her diagnosis and well being as we are
all rooting for her!!!

May God Bless,
Maria in Tonawanda
