Alice,
There are good chiropractors and bad "Quack-o-practors! The main thing
is that Sabryna get relief from the pain. PAIN causes a lot of stress
which is not neeeded!
Over 27 years I have been on many pain medications. A pain medication
for a short period of time is not going to cause addiction!
The only medication I had trouble getting off from was Valium and I was
on that for 11 years.
I pray that they at least make the pain tolerable while they are
searching.I suffered much pain before I got a baclofen pump. I am one of
the "guinea pigs" 5that was in the blind study about the baclofen pump
that was written in "The Clinical Journal of Pain".
My mother had an abcess removed from her bowel last Thursday. they
connected up an epidural and she was able to push a button to give
herself medication.(It is set so that one cannot get too much).
I have seen may changes in medicines and technology to help pain over
the years.
Again, I say that there is no reason to suffer the pain. It can be made
tolerable and I pray that Sabryna get some relief.
