Something that I think hasn't been promoted as
much as to its value in recovery is attitude. A positive
attitude and laughter have great merit in the world
of healing!
I think that Craig's beliefs are most important along
with the power of prayer as we talked about earlier,
but I think he must also have positive attitude to pur-
sue his recovery to the fullest, and he has to be able
to laugh at every possible chance.
The nurses said during my stay with them that they
thought that the laughter that came from my room was
healing for everyone who could hear it. We laughed at
everything--Frank's housekeeping skills in my absence
to my decision to get up and brush my teeth and only
slid off the edge of bed and couldn't even crawl to chair--
Hope that continued progress is being made and that the
weather has permitted you a firsthand visit with Craig and
his family.
