Vitamin B12 - For a short while, about 6 months, Bill was under the care
of University Hospital instead of the VA. During that time he took
Vitamin B-12 shots but I don't know what the dose was. I think it was
just the usual B-12 type of shot that Doctors give people sometimes who
want to be healthier. I was also given them for a while and I don't have
TM. Some Doctors will give them and some don't like to unless you "test
out" to be low in Vit. B.

The Doctor that I have now recommends Vicon -C for me to get my Vitamin
B. He claims you can get good vitamins (fresh or something) out of that
Brand. They cost about $16.00 some places, though, for a bottle. I also
sometimes take Vicon Plus which doesn't contain the Vit. B, but I think
it's real good for you too. I suppose just one a day is what I'm
supposed to take - but I don't have TM.

When they took Bill off the shots, they didn't tell him how much of a
dose to take. The original Doctor who gave the shots told him he really
didn't have TM - he told him the symptoms were closer to a Vitamin B
deficiency.

I hope this helps a little bit.
