UPDATE ON SABRYNA

Hi,
Well, our little girl is hurting again. For those of you who may not
have seen my prior message, I'm speaking of my 8 year old grand daughter.
The pain medication is not working and she is just lying on the floor crying. Her
doctor, a total idiot in my opinion, said it would serve
no purpose to take her back to the hospital. The Chiropractor is out of reach
until Monday.
I have been in touch with the Shriners Hospital in Tampa, which is about
50 miles from me. She meets the criteria for treatment there, but
again, it's call on Monday and make an appointment with one of their
doctors. What in the thunder is she supposed to do until Monday? And
how long will it take to 'make an appointment'? My daughter is trying
to contact the Shriners there in Panama City, no answer, apparently the
number is for a residence. The way our luck is going he will be on
vacation!!
To complicate matters more, their insurance is one of those blasted
HMO's and if they take her anywhere without the doctors referral the
insurance is no good!!
So, at this point everything is just on hold until Monday morning when
I can call the Shriners Hospital. If they will accept her, then she
has an 8 hour car ride to contend with. Should be fun with a painful
back.
You guys are great, you've kept me from going a little nuts, well a
whole lot nuts, over the past two days. I'm getting ready to close
up shop here at work and will be back Mon at 7 Am to begin another
66 hour week.
Hopefully we can get some help then.
