First of all, thanks to all of you for your welcome. I'm still kind of a
lurker but am trying to change that.
Two years ago when I periodically had access to this site, I posed a
question which ,at that time, no one seemed to have an answer to.
Has anyone experienced the inability to read ie. inability to focus, [I
had this problem the first 2 months after onset] short term memory loss,
inability to concentrate? I still have the last two problems and have
had TM for 2 yrs. Not on any meds and did not have these problems before
TM.

Hi Mary,
It's not uncommon for Myelitis to have an effect on the optic nerve. Also
your short term memory loss symptom points toward possibility of needing an
MRI of the brain.
