Hi John,
"Allergic to potatos". That's amusing to me.Actually I'm laughing about it!
Now,when people find out that the only thing I'm allergic to is "earthworms",
I'll tell them about the lady thats allergic to "potatos". That is "touching
earthworms." :-)

My husband had a very serious allergic reaction when peeling potatoes for me
one time. Had trouble breathing until he took antihistamines. Not a laughing
matter at all. Before that he had developed allergies to fresh apples and some
other fruits, when they had never bothered him before. You can develop
allergies to things that you were not allergic to before, so he doesn't know
if it is that, maybe an enzyme in fresh fruits and potatoes, or to some
chemical used for pestcides or whatever. He can eat them cooked, but not
fresh.
