Hi, i'm so grateful to have found this board. I am 29 years old.
I'm comimg upon my first anniversary with TM, I was diagnosed on January
29,1998
at UVA hospital in Chalottesville. Within three days of onset I had lost use of
both arms below the elbow, all of my torso region and my right leg. Walking
retuned within several weeks but my right arm and both hands are still somewhat
strange.
I still wear gloves when I sleep to keep the spasms to a mimimum and the
bladder function is odd as well. Friends often ask if i'm back to normal,
well, there is a new "normal". Please stay in touch and I will check in when I
can. (I'm back to work and the father of two wonderful but young daughters)
