- stumbling over anything -- or nothing.
-knowing where all the bathrooms are in any establishment I am in very often.
-being afraid of being thought a hypochondriac if I discuss symptoms when I
"look fine"
and "seem to get around okay."
-being concerned that people when think I'm a little tipsy (when I don't drink
at all) when
I misstep and stumble for no apparent reason.
-not being able to play in our once-or-twice-a-year-snowfall with my children.
:(
- finding irregularities never noticed before in familiar floors.
-using a cane with one hand and holding onto a toddler with the other and
having no one in
the grocery store offer to carry my groceries out to the car.
-fearing MS or a relapse or some new symptom or worsening of symptoms is just
around
the corner, but trying not to worry about it.
-learning to appreciate what I do have and can do.
-appreciating all of those who have helped in any way and thereby realizing
what true
friendship and giving of oneself is all about.
-seeking God's grace for every day.
I liked John's TM designations (very creative!) and have one to add: Trembly
Muscles.
