Carri....I don't know whether I could have made it thru my first year
with TM without the help of a good psychologist. She was very helpful in
restoring my self worth, with the guilt I felt in te way my illness
affected my husband and children and in just being an objective sounding
board. As a woman, I know that I always tried to be sensitive to my
husband's feelings and got used to not having quite the same sensitivity
returned....then when I got TM I didn't have the energy to tip-toe
around his feelings and we had a few months of marital
disharmony(bitching). I am in a wheelchair, T-5 injury, have not had
any return of function. Probable viral then autoimmune response as a
causative agent.
